MHA-Stopford Company History

MHA-Stopford is the joint venture between MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd and Stopford Projects Ltd. whom together have recognised the major synergies that both companies offer each other in the field of turnkey EPC projects within the petro-chemical, energy, bio-fuels, nuclear and process related industries.

MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd is a leading provider of technical automation, control technology and system integration to core industrial sectors. MHA was established in June 1988 and has grown to now employing over 170 permanent staff and to undertaking all aspects of system integration projects using its own in-house resources.

Stopford Projects is a leading engineering design and consultancy group with offices based in the heart of the process industries in Ellesmere Port.

Stopford was formed in October 1982 and now employs over 100 people.

MHA-Stopford is able to not only draw on the combined skill and resources of a complete range of specialised engineering skills that resides within MHA and also within Stopford, but also draw upon the many years of experience and knowledge which has accumulated within both organisations. This allows MHA-Stopford to offer its extended client base and our new customers a vast range of experience and knowledge adopting the best practice techniques across the complete spectrum of industries.
